TED is one of the most recognisable faces from the world of entertainment and his appeal extends to people of all ages, whether as an accomplished stand up comic, as Den Perry the villainous night club proprietor in Phoenix Nights, or as the Governor in The Slammer, the BAFTA award winning children’s entertainment show!
Ted also has a string a TV credits to his name, both as a presenter or as an actor in television drama and film – staring in hits such as “Emmerdale”, “Calandar Girls”, “League Of Gentlemen”, “Little Britain”, “Benidorm” and “Dick And Doms Diddy Movies”.
Ted also presents the Mid- Morning programme for BBC Radio Lancashire and indeed, he lives in Lancashire with his wife Judy and their two children Jack and Molly. Ted’s very familiar with the story of the Pendle Witches and is a great lover of the Pendle area’s outstanding natural beauty.
Speaking about the August 18th event, Ted said: “Pendle Witch Walk is set to be a massive event and it’s one I’m really looking forward to. It’s a unique way to mark the 400th anniversary of one of the defining moments of Lancashire’s history.
With hundreds of sponsored walkers dressed in witch fancy dress and a series of musical treats during the afternoon on Barley Green, it’s definitely THE event to attend this summer.”
